About Robin Kahn

Robin J. Kahn was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised on Staten Island. She attended Franklin & Marshall College located in Lancaster, Pa. and graduated from New York University, College of Arts and Sciences with a joint degree in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish.

 

While attending Brooklyn Law School she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and participated in internships at both the United States Attorney's Office, Criminal Division in the Southern District and the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

Upon graduation from Brooklyn Law School in 1987 she began working at the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Division in Manhattan as a trial attorney. While there, she handled hundreds of criminal cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to complex felony murder cases, from arraignment to resolution.

 

Kahn has extensive trial experience defending the rights of the accused of all types of criminal offenses.
